Quarry Park Adventures is currently in the development phases. When it is complete, it will allow attendees to zip line, ride on giant swings, participate in free-fall jumps, ride paddle boats and much more.

The adventure park will be located at the historic quarry site in Rocklin (4060 Rocklin Road).

In the meantime, Quarry Park Adventures is currently seeking local acting talent to participate in a 2018 promotional campaign for the park. Families and individuals with enthusiasm for the idea of the park are being encouraged to try out to be a part of the campaign on Friday, Nov. 10, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at 4060 Rocklin Road, Rocklin. Those who try out do not need any specific talents or acting experience.

The actors selected will appear in TV, radio, print and social media campaigns for Quarry Park Adventures.

The Rocklin City Council recently agreed to spend $2.6 million on the various design elements of the park, including zip lines, a rope course and climbing activities along quarry rock faces. The construction elements are expected to be completed by February, with the park opening in spring 2018.

City officials have said that the project has the potential to be a catalyst for Rocklin business and development in the Quarry District and hopes to attract customers to local business to increase local tax revenue.
