Oki Sushi has opened for business at the Rocklin Crossings retail center.

Sushi lovers were almost denied this new eatery due to the pandemic. The owners of Oki Sushi’s said they planned to open earlier this year, but were delayed.

With the hurdles behind them, the family-owned business will occupy a 1,500-squre-foot eatery at 5406 Crossings Drive, serving up an amazing lineup of sushi rolls.

The basil roll, a big-time favorite at Oki, is stuffed with crab mix, tempura asparagus, and cream cheese and is topped with fresh salmon, Hamachi, special roasted garlic sauce, garlic butter and fresh basil.

Oki also serves up sashimi plates filled with a variety of fresh fish of the day along with soup, salad and rice.

The menu includes teriyaki and bento box meals, too.

The restaurant had a soft opening in September and continues to have the community’s support.

If you go, you can enjoy the outdoor and indoor seating, but it can be limited.
