CorVel Corporation, a nationwide provider of health care management products for group health/disability insurance, workers’ compensation and more, is on its way to Roseville, according to the Sacramento Business Journal.

The company provides services to the health care and insurance industries, as well as government agencies. It is a publicly traded company with annual revenues exceeding $519 million.

The Douglas Boulevard office would be the company’s second location in the Sacramento area (there is a Folsom office), and the eighth location in California.

Placer County, and Roseville in particular, is becoming quite the hot spot for health care companies and jobs. In July, it was reported that the city anticipates about 1,200 jobs will be coming to the area over the next five years thanks to the expansions of three major health care facilities (Adventist Health, Kaiser Permanente and Sutter Health).

With CorVel appearing to be on its way to the area, that number will likely increase, which is great for Placer County’s economy and employment rate, which is one of the highest in the state.

Placer County is a thriving area and a great place to live.
