Roseville will soon be home to a Mendocino Farms restaurant, a sandwich market where people come to gather and celebrate in a relaxed setting.

It will be the second regional location once it opens at Roseville Parkway not too far from the Westfield Galleria.

Mendocino Farms honors the importance of supporting local communities. The culinary team members make a variety of sandwiches and salads with local ingredients. Numerous vegan and vegetarian options are also available and feature seasonal ingredients.

Fans of Mendocino come back again for the restaurant’s rotating food offerings, which are inspired by local and global trends.

This summer, the watermelon poke salad is sure to be a hit with poke-style watermelon, cucumbers, edamame, pickled daikon and carrots, avocado, scallions and other super fresh veggies topped with a sesame seeds and vegan sriracha mayo.

A “not so fried” chicken sandwich is a big-time favorite at Mendocino Farms. It contains shaved roasted chicken breast with Mendo’s krispies, herb aioli, mustard pickle slaw, tomatoes and pickled red onions on a toasted ciabatta. Chipotle BBQ or mustard pickle remoulade comes on the side.

Other sandwiches include the Peruvian steak, prosciutto and chicken, pork belly banh mi and classics made with shaved roasted turkey breast, crispy chicken and steak.

Or, choose from one of their many salads, such as the avocado and quinoa with superfood, impossible taco, modern Caesar, “not so fried” chicken salad and many more salad mixtures.

The proposed Roseville restaurant will have plenty of room and seating outdoors. There’s no set date as to when the restaurant will open.
