Placer County is home to some of the best wineries in California.
In addition to the great taste of the wines at a variety of different wineries, the rolling hills in the areas of Auburn, Lincoln, Loomis, Meadow Vista, Newcastle and Rocklin where these establishments are located, make for a scenic environment to visit.
Visit these great wineries this holiday season for the annual, self-guided Placer Wine Trail Tour & Toy Drive known as Holiday in the Hills. The Dec. 2 and Dec. 3 event, which benefits Toys for Tots, features more than 15 wineries. The participating wineries will have food trucks, live music, holiday specials and more!

- Wise Villa
Participants can start their tour at any of the wineries. Tickets are $20 per person, per day. Those who would like to make a donation are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy.
Placer County is home to many great small businesses, all of these wineries included. It is yet another reason why we love this area!
