There were 108 new homes sold in August in Placer County.

That number, as reported by the Auburn Journal, is part of an area calculated by the North State Building Industry Association (that includes the region between Galt and Yuba City) that saw 396 total new homes sold in the month, which was the highest mark of the last decade.

The Placer County economy remains strong and this news is further evidence of that. With a surge in health care company expansions, high employment rates, new infrastructure development and the fact it is a great place to raise a family, the area is an ideal community to set down roots.
