Roseville residents received some sub-perb news with the announcement that Jersey Mike’s Subs will open another location.

Planned for Roseville’s Rocky Ridge Town Center off Douglas Boulevard, the new sandwich spot is replacing the former Subway. Company representatives said the opening for the new location is not yet announced. The greater Sacramento area is home to nearly a dozen other stores.

Jersey Mike’s considers its sandwich a “sub above,” made with a red wine vinegar and olive oil blend for an extra zing in every bite. Sandwiches are made with locally grown produce for the ultimate level of freshness.

The restaurant slices meats and cheeses in front of their customers for tasty sandwiches made on freshly baked Jersey bread.

All the Northeast-style cold sandwiches come with onion, lettuce, tomatoes, vinegar, oil and spices. Customers can pick from a variety of combinations, including turkey and provolone, tuna fish, roast beef and provolone, Italian, BLT and other specialty sandwiches.

The hot subs are grilled to perfection with hearty meat and melty cheese. Mike’s classic famous Philly is one of the many fan favorites. Buffalo chicken, grilled portabella mushroom and Swiss, bacon ranch and Chipotle chicken cheese steak are also available.

Kids meals, sides and desserts are also sold.
