Roseville’s sports and event complex broke ground this week.
When complete, the new sports and event complex, which is located at the @theGrounds Placer County, will be able to host martial arts, basketball, cheer, volleyball and dance competitions. The facility will generate $12 million for the Placer County economy, according to abc10.com.
The first phase of construction will include the 160,000-square-foot sports and event complex. An add-on may be constructed at a later date that involves 30,000-square-feet of space and a separate culinary building.
The groundbreaking comes just over a month after the project got final sign off by the Placer County Board of Supervisors.
New development just keeps sprouting up across the region, a clear indicator of a strong local economy in Placer County!
We will keep you updated as this project moves forward.
