An outdoor public market featuring craft drinks and food truck-style cuisine near Quarry Park Adventures is one step closer to reality.
Late in February, the Rocklin City Council approved an agreement to push the open market concept forward. During the recent session, the council reviewed and OK’d a lease and operating procedures that will plan for noise, parking, security, and other issues.
Beer 40 LLC came away with the winning proposal for the nearly one-acre site, which will be home to a craft beer and wine service area, food vendors, stage, seating for dining, play zones, and other amenities.
The company envisions modified cargo containers as permanent fixtures at the outdoor market and nearly half a million of other on-site improvements.
Beer 40 has a proven track record of putting together venues that feature delicious street foods, craft beers, wine, and family- and pet-friendly environments. Rocklin’s market might open as soon as this fall.
The outdoor market concept is yet another example of what makes Rocklin an exciting place to live, work and play. This city is located perfectly on gentle hills with incredible views of the surrounding mountain ranges, including the majestic Sierra.
