Rocklin is celebrating its 125th year as a city this year!

Coming off the heels of a city-wide celebration at Quarry Park in February, the city is planning a parade on May 12. The parade will take place on Rocklin Road, Front Street, Faron and 5th Street. When the parade ends at Johnson-Springview Park, there will be a festival, including live entertainment from local artists, carnival rides and games, food and arts, and craft booths from local businesses.

The parade is intended to “celebrate what has made Rocklin a great place to live, work and play through the last 125 years.”

Those individuals and business that would like to participate in the parade can fill out an entry form here.

We love Rocklin because it is a vibrant city home to various employers, great parks and schools, hiking and biking trails, restaurants and more. The population is 64,417 and it has been considered one of the fastest growing cities in California (60 percent growth since 2000). Situated right off I-80 and Highway 65, residents have easy access to Sacramento and other cities in the area.
