A global technology health care company is planning to open up a location in Roseville, bringing more than 1,000 jobs to the area.

Penumbra, which is headquartered in Alameda, develops medical products for hospitals and is opening an office in the location that used to be occupied by Hewlett Packard. According to The Sacramento Business Journal, the location is expected to be open by 2020, and serve as a manufacturing spot for the company.

Penumbra’s main two markets are neuro and vascular devices. It has offices in Alameda, Germany, Australia and Brazil.

Roseville is full of job opportunities and with this new addition the area, it is only going to get better for those who are looking to both live and work in Placer County.
